Westfield Attorneys ‘Stuff the Bus’ for Local School Children
Volunteers from the Westfield-based law firm collect school supply donations for The United Way of Greater Union County.
Westfield, NJ-based law firm Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper, P.C., partnered with The United Way of Greater Union County for its annual Stuff the Bus campaign, a collection drive that provides school-age children in need with brand new school supplies and backpacks throughout the county.
Lindabury is an annual participant in the initiative and, this year, one of the firm’s summer associates expanded the efforts. Emerald Sheay, president of the Family Law Society and a student at Seton Hall Law School, assisted with the campaign when she went back to campus, along with Amy Eng, vice president of the school’s Family Law Society.
Together, volunteers from Lindabury and the Seton Hall Family Law Society collected enough school supplies to stuff dozens of “ready to learn” backpacks for middle school students. Lindabury representatives, including President David R. Pierce, Vice President and UWGUC board member Eric B. Levine and attorney Nicole A. Kobis presented the backpacks and supplies to the United Way in time for the start of the 2019-20 school year.
