Local Labor and Employment Attorneys Selected to Coveted Best Lawyers in America List for 2016
Four attorneys from Fisher and Phillips receive designation.

As a result of their longstanding and successful work in labor and employment law, four attorneys from the Murray Hill, N.J. office of Fisher & Phillips LLP have been selected by their peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2016®.
Additionally, Rosemary Gousman (10 years listed), managing partner of the New Jersey office was named “Lawyer of the Year” for her practice in litigation – labor and employment law. Gousman, along with partners Kathie Caminiti, Christopher Mills (10 years listed), and Senior Counsel Cynthia Jacob (20 years listed), received the Best Lawyers designation.

- Jacob has extensive trial experience, in bench and jury trials, litigating employment-related cases, including wrongful termination, employee benefits disputes, race, sex and age discrimination, and other civil rights litigation, all on behalf of management.
- For the past few years, Cynthia has focused on arbitration and mediation of state and federal employment-related claims. She is AAA certified and a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers as a neutral arbitrator.
Rosemary S. Gousman
- Gousman is the managing partner of Fisher & Phillips’ New Jersey office, where she applies her more than 20 years of experience in labor and employment law to litigation and client counsel. She has litigated cases involving claims of discrimination, wrongful discharge, whistleblower claims, wage and hour laws, common law contract and tort claims, traditional labor law involving union-management relations, and employee benefits disputes.
- Along with her litigation work, Rosemary counsels clients on the appropriate handling of disciplinary matters, employee terminations, compliance with employment statues and state federal regulations dealing with harassment and discrimination, wages and leaves of absence. Rosemary has also been elected a Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.

- Mills is a partner in the New Jersey office where he has been advising clients on navigating the maze of labor and employment laws for nearly 45 years. He has a wide range of experience in employment litigation, employment discrimination, workforce reduction, employment-at-will and wrongful termination, traditional labor relations law, affirmative action plans, and employee pension and benefit plans.
- Over the years, he has repeatedly been selected to represent major corporations in class actions and collective wage claims.
Kathleen M. Caminiti
- Caminiti is a partner in the New Jersey office and has widespread experience handling employment litigation matters, ranging from individual plaintiff discrimination claims to wage and hour class and collective actions. She counsels her clients on employment discrimination, disability law, wrongful termination, reductions in force, FMLA and leave laws, sexual harassment, and wage & hour matters.
