Make a Splash! Memorial Pool Opens Saturday

With sunny skies and a high temperature of 87 degrees forecast for Westfield Saturday, swimmers will have an opportunity to enjoy opening day at Memorial Pool. 

The complex will open at 10 a.m. on June 1 and will close at 8 p.m. The following are the hours for the first three weeks of the season: 

Weeks of June 3rd, 10th & 17th

Weekdays 4 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Weekends: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

2013 Regular Hours

Weekdays: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. (Open for the Kiddy Area Only ~ Available to Member Parent’s & Children under 10 yrs of age.) 

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 12 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Wednesdays: 12 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Sat., Sun., & Holidays: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Hours of operation may be adjusted due to inclement weather at management’s discretion

Memorial Pool offers swimming lessons. According to the Town's website, registration is ongoing during regular office hours, Monday through Friday-8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

• Must be at least 5 years old and a pool member when session begins.
• Cost is $40 per child, per session
• Checks are made payable to Westfield Memorial Pool
• Classes are Tuesdays through Fridays for 30 minutes.
• Lessons are NON-REFUNDABLE
• Limited to 10 per class
• Offered on a 1st come, 1st serve basis

Please note: Members can only register for children who are on their family membership. Lesson times are not exchangeable.

SESSIONS OFFERED

1^st Session:  June 25th through July 12th

2^nd Session: July 16th through August 2nd

3^rd Session: August 6th through August 23rd

Beginner & Advanced Beginner Class Times:

9:00am; 9:30am; 10:00am; 10:30am; 11:00am

Intermediate Class Times:

9:00am; 9:30am; 10:00am

Swimmer Class Times:

9:00am or 9:30am

Fearful Beginner Class Times:

10:30am or 11:00am

*Individual lessons may be scheduled with pool certified staff only after the pool opens.
