Man Caught Masturbating In Public Again In Westfield, Police Say
A Westfield man was arrested at the public library after a reported incident inside the building.
WESTFIELD, NJ — A Westfield man was arrested June 22 after police responded to the Westfield Public Library on East Broad Street for a report of inappropriate activity inside the building.
Officers arrived at the library following the report and took 31-year-old Matthew Sosnowski of Westfield into custody.
He was charged with fourth-degree lewdness.

Sosnowski remained at the Essex County Correctional Facility pending court proceedings.
This was not the first time Sosnowski had been arrested on a similar charge in Westfield.

On May 27, police responded to East Broad Street after a report of a man masturbating in public near the downtown area. Sosnowski was taken into custody at the time and charged with lewdness.
No further details were released in either incident.
