Man With Cocaine, Marijuana Arrested Near Westfield School, Park: Blotter
A man with the intent to sell cocaine and marijuana was arrested near Mindowaskin Park, according to the Westfield Police blotter

Westfield, NJ -- A man was arrested for having cocaine and marijuana with the intent to sell it near Mindowaskin Park, Westfield Police reported.
Oscar Gerena, 62, of North Plainfield charged with possession of marijuana over 50 grams, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a park, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school zone, and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the Westfield blotter.
He was arrested on March 18 at 7:41 p.m. by officers Martinez and Freeman following a motor vehicle stop on East Broad Street and Elmer Street.

He was transported to headquarters processed and committed to Union County Jail in lieu of posted bail.
