Man Masturbating Inside Car Near Children Arrested In Westfield: Cops

WESTFIELD, NJ — A man was charged after police said he was masturbating inside his car near children in the area in Westfield.

On March 4 at 4:15 p.m., Westfield Police Officers responded to the 100 block of Quimby Street for the report of a white man masturbating in his parked motor vehicle.

This incident was also reported to have taken place in close proximity to juveniles in the immediate area, according to the police blotter.

Officers later found the suspect, Givi Khomeriki, 35, of Brooklyn, NY, driving his personal vehicle in the Central Business District.

After an on-scene investigation, Khomeriki was placed under arrest for lewdness. He was processed at police headquarters and released on a summons.
