Knife-Wielding Man Threatens Employee, Fight Ensues At Cranford Business: Police
Sky Pierrelouis, 24, Linden, was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and terroristic threats.
CRANFORD, NJ — A knife-wielding Union County man was arrested after police say he threatened an employee at a Cranford business.
On Nov. 15, 2024, at 9:42 p.m., Cranford Police went to a business on the 300 block of Centennial Avenue after an employee reported being threatened with a knife.
The victim told officers that a person had approached them and repeatedly threatened to harm them with a knife.

A physical altercation ensued where the victim was able to overpower the suspect. The suspect ultimately fled on foot before police arrived, said Cranford Police.
During a follow-up investigation, Detective Daniel Donnerstag identified the suspect as Sky Pierrelouis, 24, Linden.

The Union County Prosecutor’s Office approved charges against Pierrelouis for third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, and third-degree terroristic threats.
With the help of the Union County Sheriff’s Office, Pierrelouis was taken into custody on Feb. 6 without incident.
At the time of this arrest, Pierrelouis, was committed to the Union County Jail pending a detention hearing.
