Endangered Juvenile Missing For 1 Week In Union County: Update

Roselle Police reported on Tuesday that Brianna Cruz, age 16, who had been missing since April 8 was "found safe."

Update: Roselle NJ Police Department reported on Tuesday that "the juvenile has been found safe."

"Thank you to everyone in the Roselle community for your continued efforts, shares, and support in helping bring them home."

ROSELLE, NJ — Authorities are asking the public for help to find a missing endangered juvenile.

Brianna Cruz (10/23/08) was last known to be at Jersey Gardens Mall in Elizabeth on Tuesday.

Cruz reportedly took a photo in a Dunkin', presumably at Jersey Gardens mall at about 7 p.m., and sent it to her grandmother (legal guardian). The juvenile is currently believed to be in New York City, said Roselle NJ Police Department.

Her last contact was with her guardian on Thursday when she called stating she was "Happy where she is", said police.

Cruz is described as a white Hispanic female, approximately 125 pounds, 5-foot-1-inch tall, with short brown hair.
