New House Of Wine Store To Open In Westfield In May
The store will open at the site of the former TD Bank building at 560 North Avenue East in Westfield.
WESTFIELD, NJ — A new wine and liquor store is coming to Westfield.
House of Wine & Liquor will be opening on North Avenue on Mother's Day, announced Mayor Shelley Brindle during Tuesday's Town Council meeting.
The Council unanimously voted to approve a resolution for a place-to-place liquor license transfer from the Liquor Basket at 115 Quimby St. to the new House of Wine location at 500 North Ave.

The transfer has been approved by the New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control.
"We anticipate the House of Wine to open on Mother’s Day," said Brindle.

The Westfield Planning Board had originally approved an application to renovate and expand the former TD Bank building at 560 North Avenue East to make room for the new "House of Wine" liquor store in January 2022.
