New Medical Clinic Welcomes Patients At Westfield Location

The treatment offers an alternative to traditional medicine, the practice said.

WESTFIELD, NJ — A new mental health treatment facility is now serving patients in the Town of Westfield.

Keta Medical Center's clinic at 560 Springfield Ave., Suite 101, utilizes ketamine therapy to address depression, anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and other mental health conditions.

The process builds neuroplasticity within the brain, which, in turn, creates new neural pathways to develop coping skills and overcome challenges.

"Westfield isn't simply a new location," Dr. Haviva Malina, co-founder of Keta Medical Center, said, "...it's an opportunity to bring effective, safe, and life-changing treatment to more patients."

Every treatment is administered under direct supervision of emergency medicine physicians, the clinic added.

Doctors also collaborate with patients' psychotherapists and psychiatrists already in place to enhance the success of treatment, prioritize safety, and coordinate care across practices.

Appointments at the Westfield location are available every day of the week during a 12-hour time window.

Keta was founded by Malina and Dr. Cheryl Malina, both emergency room physicians with more than 15 years in the field.

The clinic operates multiple locations across both New York and New Jersey.
