New Officer, K-9 Joins Union County Sheriff's Unit
The Union County Sheriff's K-9 Unit is welcoming Officer Agurto and K9 Ceasar to the force.

UNION COUNTY, NJ — The Union County Sheriff's K-9 Unit is welcoming Officer Agurto and K9 Ceasar to the force.
Agurto and K9 Ceasar will begin their training starting on June 4 where they will undergo 16 weeks of Patrol Class, focusing on obedience, agility, tracking, criminal apprehension and article searches.
They will then attend Narcotics Detection training in the fall. They should complete all of their training by November.

Agurto will also be working with K9 Layla for Explosive Detection. They are currently training together and will also complete their training together in the fall.
