New Recycling Bins In Westfield Park
Pilot program is part of a new initiative at Gumbert Park.

WESTFIELD, NJ - A new recycling pilot program is underway at Westfield's Gumbert Park in the form of new side-by-side bins.
According to officials, the four new side-by-side bins are at each field and parking lot. The bins are labeled so that park visitors can put plastic and glass on the appropriate side and garbage on the other side.
According to officials if the program is successful and visitors participate they will look to expand and bring recycling back to the downtown area and to other parks in town.
