New Turkish Specialty Store Opens In Westfield

Apricot expanded to open its second location in Westfield where it is serving a variety of Turkish delights.

WESTFIELD, NJ — A new Turkish specialty store has opened in Westfield.

Westfield Mayor Shelley Brindle welcomed Apricot, which is based in Morristown, as it opened its second location at 31 E Broad St. on Wednesday.

Brindle had initially met with owners Semih Ozkaya and his dad Mustafa in Morristown in May.

"I had the great pleasure of officially welcoming them to our downtown and trying out some of their amazing delights," said Brindle who added Apricot's "amazing baklava is to die for!"

Apricot offers an assortment of Turkish delights including dried fruits, nuts, candy, coffee, and more.
