Man Found Dead Inside Truck In Linden: Police

The body of a dead man found inside a tanker trailer this week in New Jersey, police said.

The body was found at ‪4200 Tremley Point R‬oad after 2 p.m. when police received a report of an unconscious man inside of a tanker trailer, police said.

Members of the Linden Fire Department, with assistance from Union County Hazmat and the Elizabeth Fire Department, performed a "confined space rescue and were able to reach the man," who was not identified, according to RLS Media.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the report.

The Linden Police Detective Bureau and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating.
