NJ Woman Left 3 Young Children In Hot Car While She Gambled: PD

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – A New Jersey woman was arrested this weekend after leaving three children – one of them 11-months-old – in a hot car while she gambled, police said.

Video surveillance from the Wind Creek Casino in Bethlehem, Pa. shows Milady Borda, 38, of Elizabeth taking the children to her car shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday, according to WFMZ. The children are 8 years old, 3 years old and 11 months old.

Video surveillance shows her hitting the casino floor about 8 minutes later, and the car was not turned on, according to WFMZ. She left the casino floor around midnight.

Bethlehem police were dispatched to the Wind Creek Casino shortly after midnight on Sunday to investigate a report of three kids left in a car, according to the report.

Borda was arrested Sunday morning and charged with three counts of child endangerment, according to nj.com. She was sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
