No New Information On Terry DiFalco's Death

Authorities said there is still no new information regarding the Westfield teen who was hit and killed by State Trooper earlier this month.

WESTFIELD, NJ — It has been 20 days since Terry DiFalcowas tragically killed when she was struck by a N.J. State Police trooper's vehicle and no new information has been released.

The Union County Prosecutor's Office reported they have no new information to share on the case. The Westfield Police Department and the UCPO are still jointly conducting the accident investigation.

DiFalco, 14, was struck and killed on March 4 by a service vehicle driven by an off-duty New Jersey State Police Trooper, Union County Prosecutor's Office said.

She was attending a gathering at Central Avenue near Wyoming Street for a scavenger hunt organized by members of the school play.

Police responded to 1800 block of Central Avenue at around 8:30 p.m. on March 4 where they found to find the DiFalco. She was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene.
