Northfield Bank Hosts Community ‘Shred It’ Day

Northfield Bank will host a community Shred It Day on Saturday July 21st from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at their Woodbridge, Milltown and Westfield Branches. Shredding events give individuals the opportunity to have their confidential documents destroyed on site, free of charge. 

“Consumer fraud and identity theft are becoming more prevalent in our communities,” stated Damien Kane, Vice President and Director of Marketing for Northfield Bank. “This event gives our community members the opportunity to shred their personal information with a company they know and trust.”

Northfield’s Woodbridge branch is located at 624 Main Street, Milltown office is located at 336 Ryders Lane, and Westfield branch is at 828 South Avenue.

Shredding will be performed by Shred-It, one of the world’s leading document shredding and recycling company. There is a 3 box/bag limit per person, and all documents will be shredded on site.
