Pedestrian Struck In Downtown Westfield Thursday
Police Chief Christopher Battiloro said one person was injured in the accident.
WESTFIELD, NJ - A pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle at the intersection of South and Central Thursday night, according to Police Chief Christopher Battiloro.
Battiloro said while the pedestrian was injured, the injuries do not appear serious.
The victim, a male, was transported to RWJ Hospital with injuries considered non-serious in nature. The area is now clear,officials said.

There is no word on the driver of the vehicle or whether there will be charges filed.
