Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Car In Roselle Park
Authorities are investigating a fatal accident where a 78-year-old Roselle Park woman was struck and killed by a vehicle on Tuesday.

ROSELLE PARK, NJ — Authorities are investigating a fatal accident where a 78-year-old Roselle Park woman was struck and killed by a vehicle on Tuesday in borough.
Officers responded to the area of East Westfield Avenue and Pershing Avenue at 1:39 p.m. where they found the Lut Kwok Yeung lying unconscious on the ground, police report.
Roselle Park Police, Union County EMS and MONOC Paramedics performed Advanced Life Support to stabilize the victim. The victim was subsequently transported to Trinitas Hospital where she was later pronounced dead as a result of her injuries, police report.

Yeung had been hit by a 2006 Ford F150 Pick Up. The driver that struck the victim remained on scene and is cooperating with authorities. The accident is currently under investigation by the Roselle Park Police Traffic Bureau and Detective Bureau.
