Playboy Model, Hollywood Star Joins Movie Filming Around Westfield: See Where

WESTFIELD, NJ — Hollywood starlet Pamela Anderson made her way to the Town of Westfield to film a new movie with actor Billy Bob Thornton.

Anderson, of "Baywatch" and Playboy fame, was seen strolling through Mindowaskin Park on Jan. 28 in preparation for the film, "Somedays."

Dressed in a turtleneck, a jacket, and jeans, Anderson sported her blonde curls as she walked alongside Thornton through the snow.

"Somedays" also stars Ariana Greenblatt and is the story of an unlikely bond between two people that ends up teaching them both more than they ever thought about themselves.

In the film, written and directed by Brian Klugman, Thornton plays a delivery driver who finds out he has only months to live, but is able to give new life to a troubled teenage girl (Greenblatt).

On Jan. 12, Thornton and Greenblatt were also seen filming along with production crews at Municipal Lot #7 on Miln Street in Cranford.

Local cosmetic care business, "The Curious Heart Shop," is set to be featured in the film. Staff at the shop said the crew they talked to was "super nice" and that the store provided a backdrop to at least one scene.

Union County continues to add to New Jersey's growing reputation as a major destination for production work on major motion pictures and television shows with Lionsgate, Netflix, and Paramount all set to complete major projects on facilities in the future.

Over the last five years, Diane Keaton, William H. Macy, Lucy Liu, Pete Davidson, and Shailene Woodley are just some of the names that have been spotted around the community.

According to multiple entertainment outlets, "Somedays" is set to hit theatres in early 2027.
