Police Blotter: Residents Report Thefts

The following information was obtained from the Westfield Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

May 17 – Ranessa Crosby, 26, of Roselle, was arrested pursuant to a motor vehicle stop at E. South Avenue and Cacciola Place on outstanding warrants issued by the Cranford Police Department ($583) and the North Plainfield Police Department ($92). Crosby was transported to headquarters, processed and released after posting bail.

May 19 – Ternice Ramos, 21, of Paterson, was arrested on warrants issued by the West Patterson Police Department ($500) and Hackensack Police Department ($100) during a motor vehicle stop on the 600 block of South Avenue. Ramos was released on her own recognizance on both warrants and was issued two court dates.

Jeremy Ettinger, 25, of Westfield, was arrested at headquarters on a warrant issued by Westfield Municipal Court ($190).

May 21 – A resident of the 400 block of Colonial Avenue reported a burglary to their vehicle. The resident stated that the vehicle was parked and unlocked overnight when unknown actor(s) entered the vehicle and removed a wallet containing several credit cards, a portable CD player and a CD. The estimated total value of the stolen property was $50.

May 22 – Wynetta Bell, 29, of Westfield, was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Westfield Avenue and Washington Street.

May 23 – Angelica Williams, 27 of Rahway, was arrested at the Carteret Police Department on outstanding criminal warrants issued out of Westfield ($1,010) and Rahway ($500). The subject was processed and released after posting bail.

Ralph Rotundo, 21 of Westfield, was arrested on an outstanding Westfield warrant after being stopped for a motor vehicle violation. Subject was processed and released after posting bail.

Anthony Bryant, 29, was arrested on the strength of two outstanding warrants for his arrest, one issued by Newark Municipal Court and one issued by Jersey City Municipal Court (totaling $531). Bryant was processed and released on his own recognizance.

Belinda Caldwell, 40, of Newark, was arrested on the strength of a warrant for her arrest issued by Newark Municipal Court ($250). Caldwell was processed and released after posting bail.

A resident of the 400 block of Tremont Avenue reported being the victim of a theft. The resident stated that unknown suspect(s) stole a pocketbook and personal items totaling an estimated $35.
