Police Blotter: Police Respond to Routine Calls

A look at the week in police activity.

Routine arrests dominated police activity during the last week. Several arrests were made for outstanding warrants from Westfield and other jurisdictions, along with a report of theft from a local business.

May 27

Joseph G. Clarton, 27, of Linden was arrested on a Westfield court warrant at police headquarters. He was released on $201 bail.

Justin Tullo, 23, of Westfield was arrested and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana during a traffic stop in the traffic circle. He was also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.

Gregory Givesi, 28, of Westfield was arrested for theft of a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property, DWI, refusal and driving with a suspended license. He was processed and held on $10,000 bail.

A theft was reported on the 300 block of South Avenue East. It was valued at $50

Tatiana DiEouez, 25, of Linden was arrested on a court warrant. She was processed and held on $375 bail.

Megan Wilchok, 19, of Garwood responded to police headquarters to be arrested on a $106 Westfield traffic warrant. She was processed and released after posting bail.

May 29

Jemma Urban, 18, of Westfield was arrested during a traffic stop at Central Avenue and Frazee Court for DWI. She was transported to police headquarters and released.

Lisa M. Smith, 35, of Jersey City was arrested on a Westfield traffic warrant and released after posting bail.

Joon Choe, 19, of Westfield was arrested at police headquarters for hindering apprehension. He was charged based on an incident from the night before.

May 31

Mark Giacone, 41, of Westfield was arrested on the strength of two warrants for arrest from Westfield. He was released on $150 bail.

June 1

Thomas Totter, 37, of Westfield was arrested at police headquarters on a $500 warrant. Bail was reduced by the town judge to $200 and he paid.

Luisa Moerina, 51, of Hillside was arrested during a traffic stop at North Avenue and Crossway Place for a Linden warrant. He was released.

Brenda Jackson, 47, from Roselle and Tony Walker, 26, from Roselle were arrested during a motor vehicle stop at North Avenue and Euclid Street. Jackson had a $1,107 Clark warrant and Walker had a $250 Plainfield warrant. There was a fake inspection sticker on the car.

James H. Lambert, 38, of Ocean Township was arrested at Bayside State Prison on an outstanding $1,000 Westfield warrant, a $350 Plainfield warrant and a $100 Fanwood warrant. He was held pending a court date.
