Primary care, women’s health, come to downtown Westfield
Atlantic Medical Group opens practices in space formerly occupied by financial firm
WESTFIELD, NJ - JANUARY 2019 – Westfield’s downtown, one of the most well-known and vibrant commercial districts in New Jersey, can now add expert medical care for women and families to the list of unique services available among its storefronts.
On Tuesday, January 15, Atlantic Medical Group, Atlantic Health System’s physician network, officially opened a primary care practice and a women’s health practice in downtown Westfield, both of which will offer online scheduling and convenient parking. The practices will be open Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm, and Saturday from 8:00am to Noon.
The practices – Primary Care at Westfield and Women’s Health at Westfield, will be located in one suite at 140 and 142 Central Avenue, filling a space vacated by a financial firm nearly two years ago.

“We are excited to add to the eclectic blend of services and businesses that comprise downtown Westfield,” said Steven J. Sheris, MD, Senior Vice President, physician enterprise for Atlantic Health System and President of Atlantic Medical Group. “While nearly everything can be found here, we saw a need for family and women’s medical care. We are happy to bring these services to the area, in a way that is easy to access for women and families in the community.”
Women’s Health at Westfield will deliver expert obstetric and gynecologic care for adult women of any age, and be headed by Kaylah Rondon, MD, and Chloe Acevedo, MD.

Primary Care at Westfield will be led by physicians Jeanine Bulan, MD, Niteen Jamdar, MD, and Nripen Dontineni, MD, all of whom are board-certified in internal medicine. The practice provides everything from preventive care to management of chronic conditions.
The practices are aligned with Overlook Medical Center in Summit, where the physicians have privileges.
