Prom Tuxedo Thieves Arrested in Union County: Police

Two teens assaulted another teen and stole his rented tuxedo for a prom, an Apple iPhone, and his wallet, police report

Linden, NJ -- Two men who stole a Union County teen's tuxedo for prom were arrested, Linden Police announced.

A 19-year-old Linden teen reported two acquaintances assaulted him and stole his rented tuxedo for a prom, an Apple iPhone, and his wallet.

When the victim tried to follow the men they turned around and hit him in the face causing a cut to his forehead, according to the police report.

Kobe K. West and Cameron Burns, both 18, of Linden were arrested at their homes and charged with assault and theft.

They were each released on a summons pending a June 1 court date in municipal court.
