Relive The Fabulous Fifties At Westfield Memorial Library, Aug. 12

The Westfield Memorial Library presents a Fabulous Fifties program at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12.

The Westfield Memorial Library will present a “Fabulous Fifties” program on Wednesday, August 12 at 7:00 p.m. The Library is located at 550 East Broad Street.

Dressed in 50s costumes, the cast will present skits, monologues, and songs that evoke memories of this popular decade. Sketches will include a look at television shows of the time, such as “I Love Lucy” and snapshots of Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, American Bandstand, drive-in movies, and other icons of the time. Audience members will be able to take part in a TV game show, jitterbug with the cast, or demonstrate their hula hoop skills

The program is free and open to Westfield Memorial Library and MURAL cardholders. (MURAL cardholders belong to libraries that are part of the Middlesex Union Reciprocal Agreement Libraries.
