Road Work Ongoing In Westfield This Week And Next: See Where
Milling and paving will go on through the week of Aug. 20 and possibly beyond, town officials said.
WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield drivers may have noticed construction crews on several roads recently, as restoration work has begun on a number of township streets. Milling and paving will go on through the week of Aug. 20 and possibly beyond, town officials said.
Crews from Atlantic Infrastructure, the paving contractor for Elizabethtown Gas, began work on Aug. 9 along the entire length of Breeze Knoll and part of Lawrence Avenue. The company will also do infrared patching where required, according to Westfield officials.
Milling was scheduled to start on the following streets on Monday, Aug. 14, with paving anticipated to start on Thursday, Aug. 17:

- Westfield Avenue (South Avenue to Dorian Avenue)
- Temple Place (entire length)
- Boulevard (South Avenue to Park Street)
- Ross Place (entire length)
- Carleton Road (Ross Place to Park Street)
- Park Street (Westfield Avenue to Carleton Road)
The town also said that milling is expected to begin on the following streets on Tuesday, Aug. 22, with paving anticipated to start on Thursday, Aug. 24:
- Tuttle Parkway (entire length)
- Clark Street (North Avenue to Dudley Avenue)
- Ferris Place (entire length)
- Ludlow Place (entire length)
- Nelson Place (entire length)
- Charles Street (entire length)
