Rush Bowls' 1st Union County Location Sets Anticipated Opening Date
Fanwood couple Reginald and MaryAnne StaRosa are opening the all-natural, healthy fruit bowl and smoothie franchise in Westfield.

WESTFIELD, NJ — Construction on Union County's first Rush Bowl location is moving along nicely in Westfield.
Owners of the location at 27 East Board St. in Downtown Westfield, Fanwood couple Reginald and MaryAnne StaRosa told Patch they are anticipating holding a Grand Opening date the week of July 8.
As it gets closer to the grand opening date, the couple will be able to announce a firm date.

This health food restaurant is replacing the former Psychic Boutique.

Formed in 2004 in Boulder, Colorado, Rush Bowls is a franchise chain "offering meals crafted from the finest fruit, topped with granola & honey, and blended with protein, vitamins and other nutritious ingredients that taste delicious while promoting a healthy lifestyle."
What sets Rush Bowls apart is that they have more than 25 blended fruit bowls and smoothies which can each be customizable to fit any dietary need.
Rush Bowls' menu consists of a variety of fruit bowls, smoothies, quick bites, and even bowls for your pup friends.
Along with healthy meal replacement options or pre-/post-workout items, the couple is focused on giving back to the community.
"Our commitment to health goes beyond our customers and extends to the communities we serve. We feel that, in numbers, a little effort can go a long way," according to Rush Bowls.
