The StaRosas decided to open a Rush Bowls franchise location in Downtown Westfield since they both have a passion for healthy food and have always had a dream to be entrepreneurs.
Formed in 2004 in Boulder, Colorado, Rush Bowls is a franchise chain "offering meals crafted from the finest fruit, topped with granola & honey, and blended with protein, vitamins and other nutritious ingredients that taste delicious while promoting a healthy lifestyle."
MaryAnne StaRosa said they loved the "healthy, fresh concept" of Rush Bowls and found their food "super delicious." She felt that Westfield was a "health conscious" community and felt Rush Bowls would be a "great addition to Westfield."
"Rush Bowls are all one of a kind, packed with fruits, veggies and unique combinations of delicious ingredients in order to highlight the essential superfoods. Far healthier than the traditional fast casual meal that usually comes with French fries, Rush Bowls can include optional protein and are low in calories and fat content," said the StaRosas.
