Salaries Increases For High Ranking Police In Westfield Approved
Westfield settled through negotiations with the Police Superior Officers Association for a four-year deal.
WESTFIELD, NJ — Salary increases for some high-ranking police officers were approved this week by the Westfield Council.
"I’m also happy to announce that we’ll vote to approve the voluntary settlement we’ve reached through negotiations with the Police Superior Officers Association for a four-year deal, reflecting the tremendous value we place on the professionalism and dedication of our Police and Fire Departments," said Mayor Shelley Brindle at the Nov. 8 Council meeting.

All salaries are retroactive to their effective dates.
The Council unanimously approved the ordinance with the changes at the Nov. 8 meeting.
