Severe Thunderstorm, Flash Flood Warning Issued For Union County
Breaking: The flash flood watch is in effect through 5 p.m. as heavy rain expected in the area.

UNION COUNTY, NJ — A severe thunderstorm and flash flood warning has been issued for Union County on Tuesday afternoon by the National Weather Service.
The severe thunderstorm warning is in effect until 2:30 p.m. and could bring 60 mph wind gusts with possible damage to trees and power lines.
The flash flood watch is in effect through 5 p.m. as heavy rain expected in the area. Some locations that will experience flooding include Linden, Clark, Westfield, Rahway, Scotch Plains, Cranford, Roselle and Garwood, according the NWS.
