Silent Movie Event at FUMC Westfield

The 1920 silent movie "SUDS" will be shown on Friday, Feb. 21 at FUMC Westfield at 7:30 PM and will be accompanied by organist Trent Johnson

The charming 1920 silent movie "SUDS" will be shown on Friday February 21 at First United Methodist Church of Westfield at 7:30 PM. This silent movie comedy will be accompanied by the talented and creative organist Trent Johnson, who will be accompanying on the church's mighty Aeolian Skinner pipe organ.

This satirical comedy features the famous silent movie actress Mary Pickford who plays the role of a London washerwoman whose romantic dreams of rising above her station appears to come true when she meets a wealthy young man who is one of her customers.

This silent movie evening is a fundraiser sponsored by the Oratorio Singers of Westfield and will be sure to delight all ages! Suggested donation of $5.00 for students and $10.00 for adults will help offset the expenses of their March 29th concert of Haydn's "The Creation" with full orchestra.
