Stolen Package, Bike Reported in Westfield Blotter
The Westfield Police report a number of arrests including locating a Torah found in Mindowaskin park.

Westfield, NJ -- The Westfield Police reported a number of arrests, stolen property and the location of a Torah in an area park, according to the blotter.
On April 21 at 11:27 p.m.: Officers Martinez and O’Holla arrested Lamont Hines age 52 of Newark on an outstanding traffic warrant for $1,189 out of Westfield municipal court and another traffic warrant for $900 out of Plainfield Municipal Court pursuant to a person pickup at Plainfield Police Department. He was transported to headquarters processed and placed in cell 3 in lieu of bail.
On April 21 at 7:19 p.m.: A Torah with the name of “Pauto Mfur” was found in Mindowaskin park by the playground it was secured for safekeeping

On April 21 at 9:30 p.m: A resident of Genesee Trail reports that a package was stolen from his front porch between the hours of 2:30 and 5:30 p.m. Total value of stolen property is $5,000.
On April 22 at 10:32 p.m.: Officers Desiato and Habgichr arrested Anita Christofferson age 41 of Springfield Avenue, Summit pursuant to a motor vehicle accident investigation in the area of Dudley Avenue by Lawrence Avenue. She was transported to headquarters where she was processed and placed in cell 1 awaiting pickup by a sober adult.

On April 24th at 10:55 a.m.: A resident of Sandra Circle reported the theft of a red and white Diamondback mountain bike from the municipal Lot number 5 on the evening of April 23. The approximate value of the bicycle is $700.
On April 26 at 11:51 a.m.: Officers to Jamarillo and Ferry arrested William J Goode, age 49, of Irvington subsequent to an investigation in the area of East Broad Street and North Euclid Avenue on an outstanding warrant issued by the Newark Municipal Court. He was transported to Westfield Police Department processed and released on his own recognizance.
On April 26 7:20 p.m.: Officers Neri and Popleik arrested Ravon O. Casey, age 24, of Plainfield on the strength of an outstanding warrant worth $1,494 out of Westfield Municipal Court pursuant to a prisoner pick up at the Somerset County Jail. He was transported to Westfield Police Headquarters processed and committed to the Union County Jail in default of bail.
On April 27th at 9:19 a.m.: Ahmad Kamana, age 26 was arrested at the Middlesex County Jail on an outstanding warrant for $1,000. Ahmad was transported to Union County Jail in lieu of bail.
On April 27 at 8:33 p.m: Officer Martinez arrested Suzy M. Oliveira, age 28, of Bond Street, Elizabeth on the strength of a Westfield Municipal Court warrant in the amount of $89 at Westfield Police Headquarters. Oliveira was processed and released after posting bail.
On April 28th at 8:16 p.m.: Officer McCarthy and Martinez arrested Joseph Fogel, age 24, of Winchester Way, Westfield on the strength of a warrant out of Cranford Municipal Court in the amount of $89 pursuant to a motor vehicle stop in the area of Lenox Avenue and South Euclid Avenue. He transferred to headquarters was processed and released posting for bail.
On April 28th at 8:04 a.m.: Patrick Thompson Jr., age 27, of Plainfield was arrested for possession of CDs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and obstruction of administration of the law. Thompson was released on summonses.
On April 28 at 7:23 p.m.: Officers began arrested Andrea Ortis, age 23 of South Avenue, Westfield on the strength of an outstanding warrant issued by the Westfield Municipal Court in the amount of $114 at Westfield Police Headquarters. She was processed and released after posting bail.
On April 28 at 8:07 p.m.: Officer Bagan and Donovan arrested Cashunda Norris, age 32, of East 32nd Street, Paterson on the strength of an outstanding warrant issued by the Bridgewater Municipal Court in the amount of $389 pursuant to an investigation at Westfield police headquarters. Subject was processed and released after posting full bail.
