Members of the Union County 4-H Variety Club display the dogwood sapling they planted at the County’s Cedar Brook Park in Plainfield last month to mark Arbor Day 2017.
In all, two dozen 4-H students took part in the event. They planted 5 new trees and spread protective mulch around others.
The trees were provided by the Freeholder Board and County personnel assisted in digging the holes.
