SUMMIT, NJ — A Union County woman is among the women to compete on ABC's first-ever "Golden Bachelor" season, which focuses on a mature love celebrating the "golden years."
Anna, age 61, a retired nutritionist of Summit, is among the 22 women vying for 71-year-old Gerry Turner's heart.
"Anna is a woman of the world! She has traveled to over 20 countries, but is still looking for her travel partner for life. Anna has three daughters and loves hiking and skiing with them. The adventurous matriarch is looking for a kind, confident, sensitive, and emotionally intelligent man to share her life with. When Anna isn’t spending time with her family, she loves foraging for mushrooms and learning about new herbs and plants. She also loves to cook," according to ABC.

Some fun facts about Anna are that she spends her Sundays at the local farmer’s market; dives cageless with sharks; and loves anything dark chocolate (especially lava cakes).
Anna is not the only New Jersey native competing. Maria, 60, a health and wellness director from Teaneck, and Theresa, 69, a financial specialist from Shrewsbury, also made the cut.
