Woman Killed On Thanksgiving, Suspect Still At Large: Prosecutor

The murder of a 30-year-old woman in an Elizabeth apartment complex happened during the early morning hours of Thanksgiving, said police.

ELIZABETH, NJ — A man wanted for killing an Elizabeth woman on Thanksgiving is still at large, the Union County Prosecutor's Office said.

In the early morning hours of Thursday, Nov. 23, Elizabeth Police Officers were called to Mravlag Manor for a report of a homicide. When authorities arrived, they found 30-year-old Victoria Myers, of Elizabeth, dead at the scene.

The suspect, who police identified as Gerard Manning, 30 of Elizabeth, has been charged with first-degree murder, second-degree possession of a weapon, second-degree possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

Manning is still at large.
