The Farmhouse Store to Open on Palmer Square, Princeton, NJ

Palmer Square is pleased to announce the addition of The Farmhouse Store, scheduled to open on October 26 at 43 Hulfish Street, in the heart of Palmer Square, adjacent to Mediterra restaurant. 

The Farmhouse Store will carry a unique selection of small-batch, handcrafted artisan gifts, pottery, glass, wood, textiles, metal, paper, home decor, and jewelry. They will specialize in barn wood furniture, a collection of pieces that have been created by using antique barn boards reclaimed from 100-200 year-old barns and mills.

Owners and Princeton residents, Ron and Kristin Menapace, will bring the same distinctive flair that has built a loyal following of over 20,000 customers in the original store in Westfield, NJ, owned by Ron’s brother, Ed Menapace and partner Bill Curtis.  

“We are excited to offer something different in Princeton,” says Kristin Menapace. “Our selection of uncommon gifts and home décor are things you really can’t find anywhere else.”

The Farmhouse Store has been recognized in New Jersey Monthly as “Best in New Jersey” for home furnishings in 2011 and 2012. 

Hours of operation will be Monday–Wednesday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday-Saturday 10am to 8:30pm, and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Parking is available on-street or in the attached Hulfish Street parking garage.
