Union County Freeholders to Kick Off New Year

Elizabeth, NJ -- The Union County Govenment will host its 159th Annual Reorganization on Sunday, Jan. 3 at noon.

The Union County Freeholder Board will host its annual reorganization, swearing in County elected officials, appointing a new chairman and vice chairman of the board.

Freeholders will also vote to fill numerous positions on county advisory boards and to adopt the board’s 2016 schedule and more.

The meeting will be held in Union County Courthouse at 2 Broad Street in Judge Cassidy’s chambers in Elizabeth.
