Union County Judge Daniel R. Lindemann Swears In Seven
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) of Union County

Elizabeth, NJ – Union County Family Court Judge Daniel R. Lindemann recently administered the oath to CASA of Union County’s Class 27, during a swearing-in ceremony at the Union County Courthouse. The seven newest CASAs completed a 30-hour training program with CASA of Union County, a non-profit organization committed to advocating for foster children in out-of-home placement due to abuse and neglect. As unbiased eyes and ears of the court, CASA advocates play a vital role in assessing the foster child’s out-of-home placement. The relationship CASAs form with the foster child is critical to the outcome of his or her case before the court. After the ceremony, a reception was held for the newest CASAs and their guests at Michelino’s Restaurant in Elizabeth.
