Union County Sheriff’s Officer Indicted In Official Misconduct Case
A five-count indictment alleges official misconduct and fraudulent title filings, prosecutors said.
UNION COUNTY, NJ — A Union County Sheriff's Officer was indicted by a grand jury in connection with alleged official misconduct and fraudulent title filings.
The Union County Grand Jury returned the five-count indictment on Aug. 6 against Christopher R. Wolf, 46, of Budd Lake, according to the Union County Prosecutor's Office.
The charges followed an investigation by the prosecutor’s office Special Prosecution Unit working in coordination with local police departments.

Union County Assistant Prosecutor Aran McNerney and Detective Edward Henderson led the investigation.
"The integrity of our entire criminal justice system relies on the public’s confidence that those sworn to enforce our laws abide by them with complete honesty," said Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel. "When that trust is breached, our office has an unwavering obligation to uphold the rule of law."
