Westfield Approves $3.2M In Firefighter Salaries

WESTFIELD, NJ - The Westfield Mayor and Council approved $3,204,744 in firefighter salaries during their regular meeting last Tuesday.

The approval, retroactive to Jan. 1, authorizes the treasurer to draw warrants to their order biweekly as their names appear on departmental payrolls. The officers and their annual salaries are as follows:

• Scott Miller, Battalion Chief: $129,735
• James Ryan Jr., Battalion Chief: $129,735
• Michael Ridge, Battalion Chief: $126,443
• Timothy Brennan, Battalion Chief: $129,735
• Robert Sawicki, Battalion Chief: $129,735
• James Dannevig, Lieutenant: $116,166
• Rick Jurgens, Lieutenant: $119,456
• Michael Sawicki, Lieutenant: $119,456
• Thomas Ryan, Lieutenant: $119,456
• Michael Duelks, Lieutenant: $119,456
• Matthew Pereira, Lieutenant: $119,456
• Aldo Tammaro, Lieutenant: $119,456
• Lou Cherchio, Lieutenant: $119,456
