The Westfield Blue Devils baseball team sealed its trip the Union County Tournament semi-finals, trouncing neighbor Arthur L. Johnson 11-1 in five innings this afternoon at Bob Brewster, Sr. Memorial Field, according to a report by NJ.com.
Scoring for Westfield were Michael Ionta, with a two-run homer, Liam Devin, and Anthony Perconte, each with two runs, while Quinn Dursee, Chris Arena, Jake Greenberg, and Tyler Bowman each had an RBI.
Earning the win for the Blue Devils was Brad DeMartino, who allowed a run on three hits with six strikeouts and zero walks over five innings, according to the report.
