Westfield Bunny Trail Scavenger Hunt Invites Residents To Shop Local This Spring
Residents can search for blue bunnies at more than 30 local businesses for a chance to win gift cards through early April.

WESTFIELD, NJ — Downtown Westfield is inviting residents and visitors to participate in a festive, bunny-themed scavenger hunt as the spring season begins.
The event, known as the Bunny Trail, runs from Saturday, March 21, through Sunday, April 5. Participants are encouraged to stroll through the downtown district to shop at local businesses and search for hidden plush blue bunnies.
To enter the contest, participants must find a blue bunny inside a participating business, take a photograph, and scan the QR code held by the plush toy.

After uploading the photo through the designated entry form and providing contact information, participants have a chance to win one of three Downtown Westfield Gift Cards. The prizes are valued at $150, $75, and $50 and are redeemable at more than 40 downtown businesses.
Featured stops on the trail include Art Cafe, Terrace Plant Shop, and Ferraro’s.

Daniel Taugher, Executive Director of the Downtown Westfield Corporation, said the event is a fun way to get families and visitors exploring the area.
"The Bunny Trail is part scavenger hunt and part spring celebration," according to Taugher.
He added that it serves as a great way to stroll through downtown, pop into businesses, and enjoy everything the district has to offer this time of year.
Local business owners noted that the event provides a meaningful way to connect with customers while highlighting the unique mix of retailers and service providers in the area.
Erin Mecca, owner of Patricia & Paul, said she is thrilled to participate in the event.
She noted that the team is ready to assist anyone searching for Easter and Passover gifts while they hunt for the blue bunny.
Mari Denny, owner of Luxe Threads, added that she is excited to participate in the Bunny Trail and provide a fun adventure for kids in town.
