Westfield Cinnaholic Is Open. What's Next?
New businesses are coming to Westfield in the coming months.
WESTFIELD, NJ - Vegan cinnamon rolls, specialty real estate, a microbrewery and tacos are on their way to downtown patrons as Westfield's business district continues its spring makeover.
Last week, Cinnaholic opened next to Ferraro's at 18 Elm Street and celebrated with $1 cinnamon rolls. Cinnaholic is a vegan bakery franchise that started in 2010 and currently operates in eight states.
The Michelle Pais Group, the luxury division of Garden State brokerage Signature Realty NJ, opened a new office in Westfield located at 233 North Avenue East. The office is led by agent Michelle Pais and her 15-person team, who currently market and sell high-end listings priced as high as $18
million.

According to our friends at Downtown Westfield there are more openings on the horizon including:
- Buddha Fish, a high end sushi and tapas restaurant that will open at 35 Elm Street in the former Mojave Grill location. The building recently had a fresh coat of grey paint on the exterior and a new sign and awning installed.
- Spice Bazaar Modern Indian Cuisine, Westfield's only Indian restaurant, located at 114 Quimby Street is relocating to a larger space at 39 Elm Street, previously occupied by Ambeli Greek Taverna. Owners Simran Bakshi and Kanika Vij will also open a new pan Asian restaurant in their current Quimby Street location.
- Innovasian Taco will open at 106 Quimby Street at the corner of Central Avenue.
- Acting Out!, Brooklyn's Premier Acting School, will open at 439 South Ave. West in the Root Building at the corner of Westfield Avenue and South Avenue. Acting Out! offers an extensive performing arts curriculum, from kindergarten to college. The entire staff are professional working actors and musicians. Children will learn in-depth performing arts technique while having fun.
- Bareburger is planning to open in the Fall at 126 Central Ave., next door to Warby Parker. This upscale burger franchise with a full liquor license offers burgers, salads and sandwiches. Their menu is over one-third vegetarian and plant-based and they work with sustainable farmers and partners. Enjoy everything from a bison burger with blue cheese, bacon, bourbon jam and caramelized onions, to a sweet potato, kale & wild rice patty.
- Lions Roar Brewing Company will be opening microbrewery at 515-523 South Avenue West with a goal of serving customers by the end of 2019. Owners Corinne and Tim Grant said they will feature European-style beers and American craft staples as well. They also are looking to partner with local businesses owners.
