Westfield Dispatcher Diagnosed With Leukemia In Need Of Blood

The Westfield Police Department is hosting a blood drive on Sept. 10 to help one of their dispatchers Kim Sakr.

WESTFIELD, NJ — The Westfield Police community is rallying to help one of their dispatchers who was diagnosed with leukemia and needs blood.

The Westfield Police Department is hosting a blood drive on behalf of Kim Sakr on Monday, Sept. 10 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the department's community room at 425 East Broad St.

Appointments are available and encouraged. To make an appointment visit rwjuhdonorclub.org or by calling the RWJUH Blood Services at 732-235-8100 ext. 221 or 248.
