Alan's Orchard chief freshness officer Alan Weinberg said this marks the second season his Quimby Street business is participating.

"We focus on the baked treats at the Market," he said. "So we have some delicious fresh baked breads, pies and pastries."

Carnivores can make their way to Down to the Bone BBQ's table. With an outpost overlooking the water in Stanhope, NJ, the restaurant and Farmer's Market frequenter offers ready-to-eat hot food as well as prepared items shoppers can take home and enjoy later in the week.

Offering all types of barbecue favorites, including "a ton of pulled pork," Down to the Bone will not be at the market on July 7 but looks forward to kicking off the season on July 14. For those in need of a hot sauce fix, Central Avenue's sells two of the barbecue joints sauces: Sweet Heat and Mild Madness.
