Westfield Hadassah Monthly Meeting: Join us
Two Sisters of Sisterhood of Salaam Shalom to talk
The community is welcome on Monday, October 22, at 12 noon to attend the Westfield Chapter of Hadassah's monthly meeting at Temple Emanuel in Greifer Sacks Hall. The program will be two members of the Sisterhood of Salaam Shalom sharing their thoughts. The Sisterhood of Salaam Shalom builds strong relationships between Muslim and Jewish women based on developing trust and respect and ending anti-Muslim and anti-Jewish sentiment. Adla Karim, originally from Egypt, and Marsha Malberg, from Somerset, members of the Hillsborough Chapter will speak about the history of the group and its current activities. They will share their personal reflections about an organization working to rid the world of intolerance.
