WESTFIELD, NJ — Alas, alas. The Westfield High School Theatre Department will air its pre-recorded production of the musical "Godspell" this Friday and Saturday night. Check the ticket link below.
The lively show, loosely based on the Gospel according to St. Matthew, opened off-Broadway in 1971, toured around the world through the 1980s, and was made into a 1973 film. A revival was performed on Broadway from 2011 to 2012.
The original show was composed by Stephen Schwartz with book by John-Michael Tebelak.
