WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield High School seniors who attended — more than a decade ago —Lincoln School's inaugural kindergarten classes in 2008-09 recently gathered outside of WHS for special commemorative photos.

Students were photographed in their original Lincoln kindergarten class "sections."

The Lincoln School is almost 100 years old, having been built in the 1920s, according to an old story in NJ.com. But the building was renovated and reopened for the 2008-09 school year. It offers kindergarten classes as well as preschool classes for kids with special needs.

Obviously the students stuck with their school district, and are now getting ready to graduate.

Photos of them in their sections, taken last week, will be used for "Then and Now" pages for the upcoming WHS 2021 Weather Vane yearbook.
