Westfield Kindergartners March In Halloween Parade

WESTFIELD, NJ — Students dressed in costumes participated in the 2017 Halloween Parade and Sing-A-Long on Friday at Compass SchoolHouse in Westfield.

Nearly 120 Compass students in the 3s, Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten classes took part in the parade dressed up as superheroes, skeletons, princesses, robots and other creative characters.

Parents captured the day by taking photos of the school’s front lawn.

Following the parade, Compass staff, students and parents gathered in the sanctuary of the First Congregational Church for the Halloween Sing-A-Long, where the children performed several Halloween-themed songs they’ve been practicing in their classrooms throughout October.
