The Kiwanis Club of Greater Westfield has announced their scholarship award winners for 2020. Westfield High School seniors Theresa Lizzi and Olivia Conti, cousins, were named the Key Club Volunteers of the Year. Every year of their participation in the Key Club, an international community service club, the two girls were an integral part of almost every volunteer activity offered. Both teens were given scholarships in the amount of $750.
The Westfield Kiwanis Club, under the leadership of President JM Jones, is the parent organization that provides support for the high school club. The WHS Key Club adviser, Matt Gironda, and club president Emily Klag, organized activities for the club throughout the year. Their annual Christmas toy drive for the Children's Specialized Hospital is an activity that engages the entire WHS community.
